About Stansted Airport

Stansted is London's third international gateway. With year on year growth of around 19%, it is one of Europe's fastest growing airports.
The continuing growth of passengers and the increasing number of airlines who want to fly from Stansted are rewarding BAA's investment of more than £500 million since 1986.
A £200 million project to develop Stansted to a capacity of 15 million began this year. Having broken even in 1996/97, the airport now makes an operating profit.
Stansted airport has one runway and one terminal handling over 40 airlines to more than 100 destinations.

AIRPORT FACILITIES
Money
There are ATMs located at the bureau de change, adjacent to the International Arrivals end of the concourse. There is also an Internet exchange.
Eating and Drinking
There are various restaurants and bars.
Left baggage facility
A left baggage facility is located next to the cash dispensers in the terminal. The tariff is £2.00 per item for deposits up to 12 hours. Over 12 hours and up to 24 hours is £3.00 per item and £3.00 for every 24 hours thereafter. Shopping
There are shops and duty-free outlets.
DISABLED FACILITIES
There are wheelchair-accessible toilets throughout the airport, hearing loops and a TDD telephone on the International Arrivals concourse. Parking spaces for disabled travellers are provided.
